What does an AI consultant cost in the UK? Every price, up front
For a UK construction company, Built Logic’s training costs £1,500 + VAT for one director and up to £19,950 + VAT for a whole company of 20. A Feasibility Study is £2,000 + VAT, a Custom-Built System starts at £4,000 + VAT, the AI Partnership starts at £5,000 + VAT a month, and the AI Self-Assessment is free.
Every price here is + VAT, from the live service pages. The one that moves is a Custom-Built System, because it depends on the process you want built.

Ask these before you pay anyone for AI
Whoever you talk to, these four questions get you a straight answer.
- What’s the price, + VAT, and what’s in it? Here, it’s all in the table below.
- What else will I pay for? Everyone trained needs a paid business AI account your company controls and pays for. A Custom-Built System moves onto the monthly Support Plan after its first month.
- Whose accounts does it run on? Your own. A Custom-Built System is built on your accounts, not ours.
- How long am I tied in? The AI Partnership has a six-month minimum. Training and the Feasibility Study are one-off fees.
Is it worth it?
Put the price next to what it gives back. An M&E contractor in Greater Manchester with 110 staff had one process built: reading the spec and prelims on each tender. It took their estimators about 6 hours a tender, on about 85 tenders a year. It now takes about 2.5. It was live in 5 weeks and paid back in about 7.

Good to know
- Feasibility Study: £500 to reserve, £1,500 due 14 days after delivery. Start the AI Partnership within 30 days and the full fee comes off your first month’s invoice. Go ahead with an AI Kickstart, AI Rollout or Custom-Built System within 30 days and half comes off its first invoice.
- AI Kickstart: half paid when you book, at least 3 weeks ahead. Book an AI Rollout within 30 days of your Kickstart’s 30-day review and half the Kickstart fee comes off.
- One reduction per booking: these credits don’t add together.
- Custom-Built System: the price is set by how complex the process is, with no top limit, and you get it fixed in writing before work starts. The AI Systems Finder gives you an estimate. Smaller builds usually work in 2 to 3 weeks, larger ones in 5 to 6.
- AI Partnership: the calculator on the AI Partnership page estimates the monthly fee for your size.
- AI accounts: Claude Team is what we’d recommend. Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT Business or Gemini through Google Workspace also work. No personal plans.
Who this isn’t for

Why is there a range and not one price?
Because the price follows the size of the job. One director is £1,500 + VAT. One team of up to 10 is £3,950 + VAT. The whole company over three months is £13,950 to £19,950 + VAT for up to 20 people, depending on headcount.
Do I have to pay for a Feasibility Study first?
No. It’s optional. If you already know what you want, go straight to Training, a Custom-Built System or the AI Partnership. If you do take the study and go ahead within 30 days, the full fee comes off your first AI Partnership month, or half comes off an AI Kickstart, AI Rollout or Custom-Built System. It doesn’t apply to the Leadership 1:1.
