Free for construction businesses
Your team is already using AI. Put the rules in writing.
List the AI tools your people use and what they use them for. You get a company AI policy, a one-page staff guide and an AI register with a risk list, in your own branding, as Word and Excel files. It says which tools are allowed, what data can go in them, who checks the work and what is never allowed.
If a client asked what your team puts into ChatGPT, would you know?

Written for contractors, subcontractors, housebuilders, consultants and the businesses that run buildings. Plain words, filled in from your answers.

Most of it is tick boxes. Anything you leave blank shows up in amber in the documents, so you can see what still needs filling in.

Questions
We only use ChatGPT for emails. Do we need a policy?
The emails aren't the risk. The risk is the day someone pastes in a tender price, a client's drawings or a staff record because nobody said they couldn't. A short policy and a one-page guide settle what's allowed before that happens.
Is this a legal document?
No. It's a starting template in plain words. Your business still has to adopt it, fill in the amber gaps and check it with your own advisers before you rely on it.
Where does what I type go?
The documents are built in your browser, and your answers are saved on this device only. Three things do leave it. Your website address, so we can fetch your logo and colours. Your work email and company name, for the daily limit and so we can follow up. And if you press the optional AI button, the tool names and what they're used for go to our AI provider to write the descriptions.
What about our clients' rules on AI?
Your policy can't override a client's NDA or contract. The pack says to check the contract, the NDA and the tender instructions before using AI on a job, and to follow the stricter rule. Add any rules you already know about in step 4 and they go straight into the policy.
What do I still have to do once I've downloaded it?
Fill in the amber gaps, answer the supplier checks for each tool, rate the risks with your directors and get everyone who uses AI to read and sign the policy and the staff guide. Then open the calendar file so the reviews don't slip.
We're a surveying practice. Is this the right pack?
If you're regulated by RICS, use the free RICS AI policy pack instead. It covers the records the RICS AI standard asks for.
Does it cost anything?
No. No account, no card, and every document downloads in full.
