Built Logic

One working day, and a straight answer.

Say what you want to improve and what help you're after: training, a defined project, or just working out where AI fits. You get a reply within one working day. If it won't pay back for you, you'll hear that, and there's no pitch either way.

What are you enquiring about?

This form sends an enquiry. No payment is taken here. For a study or training booking, use it to ask about dates and payment arrangements.

Before you get in touch, the honest answers.

The questions construction companies ask most, answered plainly. If yours isn't here, put it in the form above.

Are we the right kind of business for this?

Almost certainly, if you're an established construction company. Main, fit-out, M&E and specialist contractors. Housebuilders and developers. QS and cost consultants. Building surveyors, project managers and employer's agents. Manufacturers, merchants and hire companies. What matters more than your type is the volume: live jobs, documents, and the work that piles up between site and office. You don't need clean systems, tidy data or a dedicated tech person to start, because messy is normal. Sole operators and trades are out of scope, and if there isn't enough work flowing through the business yet for AI to pay back, you'll be told.

We're too busy for this.

Being too busy is usually the evidence. If the week goes on paperwork, chasing and checking, those hours are the reason to look, not the reason to wait. Most of the lifting is not yours. Early on it takes a few focused hours from the right people to show how the work runs, then short check-ins as each system goes live. No standing committee, and nobody pulled off live jobs for days. You set the pace.

We tried AI and it didn't stick.

That is usually a tool bought with nothing behind it. Nobody owned it, nothing changed around it, and it quietly stopped being used. This starts from the job it has to do: the quotes and proposals that win work, the documentation, the reporting, the processes that drag across departments and sites. You see it pays before anything gets built, then the way the work runs changes so it holds. No 200-slide decks, no year-long strategy projects.

We already use AI.

Most teams do, one person at a time, often on personal accounts. It starts from what you have got: the people already getting something out of it, the software you already pay for, and the methods worth spreading to everyone else. Nothing gets thrown out to start again.

Is our data safe, and does the AI learn from it?

Your data is never used to train AI. Your systems are hosted in the UK or EU and run on accounts in your name, so what gets built is yours and your data stays yours. If the work ends, your systems keep running. The tools, access, hosting and controls for your own engagement are agreed and checked before work starts.

What does it cost, and what do we actually get?

There is no charge for the AI Self-Assessment, and you request it online. The Feasibility Study is £2,000 + VAT. A £500 deposit books it and the £1,500 balance is due when the report is delivered. You can pay by card, invoice or purchase order. The scope, fee and information required are agreed before work starts. You get a written study: the three strongest opportunities, the first thing to build, the rough cost and payback of each, and where a person still needs to sign things off. A full study is published on the Feasibility Study page, so you can read one before you book. If there is no budget this year, you still see what it is worth before you spend anything.

How soon will we see something working?

The delivery date for the study is agreed with you when it is booked, once the requested information has been supplied. Implementation timings depend on the agreed scope, and you get them confirmed before work starts.

I need to run it past my FD or another director.

That is normal, and the Feasibility Study is written for it. The costs, the payback and the points where a person still signs off are all in writing, so whoever holds the budget reads the same numbers as you. Send it over, or get both of you on a call to go through it.

Does getting in touch commit us to anything?

No. Getting in touch commits you to nothing, and scope and fit are confirmed before any paid engagement. There is no charge for the AI Self-Assessment, and you can request it directly.
